If interested in Hindu philosophy would recommend a visit to the ISKCON temple in Juhu. Avoid weekends if looking for solitude. Check the temple timings because the doors to the deity are closed at certain times (afternoons). Try the Govinda restaurant if planning to be there at lunchtime. Excellent food.

All foods are veg but very tasty. I alongwith my office friends are used to go to Juhu to play football and after playing football we used... More

Temple is overly crowded. Due to which strict crowd movement is involved and takes away the touch of spirituality and become more of a restricted access. The food available in the in house restaurant is nice. Could definitely give it a go if around the area and looking for a veg option. Definitely better then the local restaurant.

The temple is open for worship or just a visit ..but please check the timings. You will need to keep your footwear outside the main sanctuary. Vegetarian snacks are available at a nominal price and are highly recommended. Offering at the temple is your choice and can be done in the boxes inside the sanctuary. As a mark of respect... More
