Fun for kids

The place is huge - but should be maintained properly. Not too many animals. The animals should be looked after better.

We visitied this place 3 months back with our kids. The place is a very good botanical garden in the heart of the city. We felt pity at the sight of the animals in the zoo. The monkeys were sick and most of the railings and grills were rusted. Repair work to give it a new look is in progress...with... More

Visiting this place wasn't on our list that day. We were on a day out visiting the aquarium and the planetarium, and found that we had 3 hrs to kill so decided to visit the Byculla zoo as well. We were out with 4 kids between the ages of 4 and 6. The kids were thoroughly excited since there was... More

Coming straight to the point, you get to see elephant, hippo, some exotic birds, deers(lots of them of different types too), crocodile, ostrich, monkeys, bear, squirrel, python and some types of cows. The maintenance of the place is poor hence the 3 rating. Good for children only if you want to show them some new animals.

Not worth a visit..better to watch Discovery Channel at home. such few animals you can actually count them on your finger tips....bear, deer, monkey (2), elephant (2), crocodile, blue bull and hippopotamus, anything else.... i really doubt .....really needs some maintenance work to be done. The only attraction that caught our eye was the winged creatures.

The event was organized by Godrej one of India's successful and long running enterprise. The exhibit was neat and the spread of items was delightful, with mix of bonsai's and roses .... in picture.

visited this place last week with my kid as he wanted to see some animals.. as far as the garden is concerned I would say it is not at all maintained. not much greenery is there, very few flowery plants can be seen, no neat and clean places or grass to sit except the few benches that are there on...
