A place where you will find everyyhing under the roof. Branded, local, fake, you get them all here. So be careful. Donot buy anything from folks who just walk around trying to sell things like perfumes, goggles, watch etc. Everything from veggies n meat to groceries n cosmetics, spices to dry fruits, bags to apparel and electronic items are available... MY all time favourite place. As you get all stuff here and lots of variety. People from all parts of Mumbai comes here for shopping. During Diwali, Christmas and Eid season, there is no place to walk. Must visit.

This market is at best of times crowded ,filled with almost everything avalable from car parts, shoes ,luggage to confectionary ,exotic fruits ,hard to get "foreign goods".Went lloking for a replacement suitcase and ended up buying one for less than a quarter of the asking price.

The vendors are genuine and experts in their field who sell goods at a competitive price. You have lanes dedicated for decoration, medical equipment, stationery, plastic items, show pieces, glassware, steel goods, shoes, clothes, hardware, bags....name it and you have it. You have to keep a whole day aside to enjoy your shopping in Crawford Market and you sure won't... More

Very interesting place to visit that built by the British during the days Raj. For a tourist like me the market was only a tourist destination not a buying place since they sell fresh fruits and vegetables and at the end of the market there is an spectacular pet market where songbirds are displayed and sold. I still feel that... More

Local people dealing and wheeling is always fascinating to watch and to learn. Excellent photo opportunities! Enjoyable ! Friendly shop keepers! Was just bothered by people that claimed that they are working at the place. really made a nuisance of themselves

Even though this is classed as a tourist attraction and well worth a visit, it is there for the locals really and not falsely made attractive in any way for tourists..... It is not for the faint hearted as there are some not so nice scenes such as rubbish in places and the way some of the animals are presented.... More

Lots and lots of people after sunrise till about nine at night. Street cafe's and street side food and deliciously prepared, packed / served and just the sheer number of people around make it mind-boggling. Caramel custard appeared to be famous in this area and were consistently, delightfully tasty.
