This raised, open-sided pink pavilion in one of the City Palace's courtyards beckoned to us because of its prime location, separated from the other structures in the area. The interior showed off a marble floor, pillars and beautiful chandeliers. Wall adornments included a circular display of old rifles. The structure, known as the Hall of Private Audience, is where the maharajas... More

What an amazing beautiful building. The history is amazing and so interesting, the culture and expectations of the time. The building itself is simply beautiful, the colours and intricate patterns. The skill and time this must have all taken is mind blowing.

The only great attraction in this Hall are the 2 silver vases used by the Maharaja. It has a huge courtyard around it. Must have been great in old times.

While the palace is a nice place to visit, traffic can be a bit messy around the palace and old city. The carvings were beautiful and well maintained.

Main attraction here: Wall paintings and a huges silver pot used by Maharajas for storing ganga jaal. This pot is recorded in Guinness book of world records and is worth watching.
