Beautiful sight but you can only photograph x not actually visit the mahal. The edge of the lake is interesting with lots of activity going on. There are little stalls selling trinkets x lots of photo opportunities.

Sorry I got totally confused. As far as I am aware you cannot go inside Jal Mahal, you can only view from the roadway across the lake. Great views in the evening when it is lit up.

Presently no shoot is permissible inside the Jal Mahal Palace as the Restoration and development of Mansagar lake as Tourism Project under PPP is under litigation.
