Sunrise from this hill is simply mesmerizing. make sure you have warm clothes to keep you away from cold early in the morning. You can get tea for around 5-10 indian Rupee to keep yourself warm. Sunrise is so beautiful at this hill.

It's freezing cold in November - dress in layers - you have to arrive early for a good spot, but seeing the sun come up from behind the mountains is an absolute beauty!

We were travelling in December for the Christmas Week. It was the best experience out there. Waiting for the sunrise at 3 Degree Celsius. What a beautiful view out there. Though if you are not lucky enough you may even miss out the sunrise as sometimes the sun may be visible for just seconds and may vanish out in the... More

Is a big thing at Tiger Hill and attracts large crowds. It's generally pretty cold at this time in the morning but worth it for the views

Well the area by itself amazing with a nice mountain view. But it's so over popular that hundreds of taxi moving there for sunrise. Few thousands people per day. It make sense. And it didn't make place nicer. And for the moment ugly construction going on on the top of hill. Advice is to walk there from Darjeeling (trough Alubari)... More

Our driver and guide were very experienced and knew we needed to be early to get ahead of traffic . We did just that and had a commanding view East to sunrise and commanding view West to... More

It truely is a once in a lifetime treat to see the sunrise over Sikkim, Nepal assnd Bhutan from Together Hill, named after the army regiment that once had its HQ there. The skies cleared long enough fggor us to see the majestic Himalayas.... 5* experience.

A must visit place to watch the sunrise on Mt Everest & Kanchenjunga. You need to reach the tiger hill early in the morning to enjoy the show. If you are going during winter be prepared with the warm clothes and shoes. Temperature will be around 4-5 C in the early morning.
