Nothing special. It was a waste of time for me. Car stops at a parking lot as the locals do not allow vehicles rather that their to reach the view point which is nothing but a small pool. They charge 150rupee for pick-up and drop, where as walking takes just 10mins.

All I would like to say is, this place is simply beautiful in one word....Thoroughly underrated since it should have got larger recognition that it has actually got in the first place.. The place is near Jalpaiguri and lush tea gardens, Bhutan hills view, everything makes it a worth visit..

Samsing is a small hill village in the Malbazar subdivision. Situated at an elevation of 3000 ft in the foothills of Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling districts border. This tea garden is a very pretty sight with the Bhutan hills on one side. Samsing also has orange tourism in October November. If one is interested to see tea gardens within a picturesque setting Samsing is a good place to go. I would recommend going to Samsing in October November as the view then in very good.

I think Samsing is way better as a place than it is credited with. Tourists mostly go to Suntaleykhola and come back. Most people dont even visit Rocky Island. There is Sundaribasti and Sakham nearby. One should stay here for 2 to 3 nights and explore the area around. The potential is immense. Sadly no one seems to be doing... More

We visited the place close to sunset. The view from viewpoint above Murti river bed was both thrilling and enjoyable.

Samsing is a small village best known for Sunthalekhola. But it has another view point known as Lalitjharas (as locals say)....just nearby. A beautiful landscape of Naura Valley can be seen from here. The place is too romantic and beautiful.

A quite picturesque village far from madding crowd and surrounded by lush green tea garden and hills at the far. You have to stay there for atleast a night to feel the beauty of the place.
