It is a beautiful place to view the lovely symbol crafted well. Do visit here. Awesome place and having natural beauty.

It is a monastery built between 1850 - 1910. It has a statue of Maitreya Buddha. This monastery also gave shelter to many High ranking Buddhist monks during Chinese occupation of Tibet in 1959. A good place to visit for peace of mind.

We were staying in Darjeeling and had driven down to the Ghoom Monastery, in the morning. The monastery is very close to the Batasia loop.Since it was raining, the monastery wasn't very crowded. There is a large statue of Buddha inside and one can pray...More

ya its ok for seniors but not ok for heart patient.or any type of lungs dieses....
