Usually off the limits for general public. However the Indian army arranges special program and display during "Vijay Diwas" on every 16th December. And if you enjoy parade then you can visit Red Road on 15th August and 26th January. Around 8 A.M.

I visited for 2 reasons - meeting one of my friend and the other was to attend a social marriage. On both the occasions, the buildings and its architectures mesmerized me. The cleanliness, the way the army people move around - everything is superb.

This is one of the biggest cantonments in Kolkata located right beside the Maidan area. It has a gold course inside. A green location. Entry is not allowed for all.
