Located at 45 mn from dowtown in the outskirts, the Oficina F. Brennand is an old fabric of ceramic. A huge collection of ceramic masters pieces exhibited in the place where they were and are still created by F. Brennand. It's much more than an exhibition. It looks like a temple of an unknown civilization. A mythic and magic world... More

The place is not a simple warehouse of pottery. It's made of a lot of different buildings, including the Accademia, a very interesting art gallery with paintings of the artist. The ceramics works, in many sizes and shapes, are spread all over the site, in and outside the buildings. It's pottery and poetry. And if you are too tired and... More

Nice collection of ceramic art made by local artist with international acclaim. Beautifully maintained facility that is a remodeled brick factory, so interesting as local historical site as well as for the art content.

They have converted an old ceramic tile factory located in the middle of an agricultural area about a 35 minute drive from downtown Recife into an art studio, tile factory, and museum. I went has part of a tour, but since I am not much into modern art I didn't get much out of the exhibit. My favorite part though... More

Have to preface the review by saying I don't "get" most modern art and I didn't get this either. That said, the grounds were lovely and the re-use of old factory buildings was creative and clever. We enjoyed strolling thru the place and admired the architecture and the beautiful floor tiles, the re-purposing of the old kilns (the site was... More

Oficina Francisco Brennand is an unique experience. The art pieces on display are superb and the environment is somehow magic. Although it is located in the city, it feels like being in the countryside. It is, indeed, a wonderful spot!

This place surely deserves a visit. If you dont have a car, take a taxi. Difficult to reach by public transport. In a spacious and beautifull setting you can see hundreds of ceramic sculptures by Francisco Brennand, who is omnipresent in Recife. Try to find a guide who can give you some explanation and insight to the peculiar art, full... More

This is a beautiful spot in Recife. Not only for the art, but the whole environment is special there. Great experience.
