It was not just an island beach, it was a mix of sand in the water in the sand, like the famous one in Australia (as seen from the pic). Plus, on the main beach there was a stream which became a water pound at...More

Try to be there whe the tide is low, and you'll see the locals digging the sand for mussels. Beautiful sight. Other than that, pretty basic, beach/ river mouth beer, sun and appetizers kind of place.

It is a very beatiful beach, but remember that you can´t reach there without same kind of boat, there are many for rentals just there when you arrive. It is a lovely tour

Cleaner than others local beaches, fantastic service and great seafood dishes at Bar do Beto. Price is average for recife, but he offers lots of free food and cachaça to his clients

This beach is one of the point you have to go if you stay for a week in Recife. It is a small isle where you reach by small boats (or motor canoe). That care because water currents are strong.

beach around the little island is fantastic - catering is a bit confused as many people want to serve you at the same time
