Nice way to stretch your legs after a long drive. Ferry was on time. It's says on there website to be there 30 minutes before time to leave. We got there 45 minutes before and we where the last car to get on the ferry. A lot of people behind us had to wait for the next one.

We took the ferry from Dauphin Island to Ft. Morgan. The kids had fun and the staff was very friendly. The ferry was always right on time.

We wanted to eat at Tacky Jack's at Fort Morgan and decided to spend the day driving and site seeing as it was raining. The ferry was quite enjoyable

On the day we wanted to take the ferry it was not running due to high winds. But we went back the next day to do a round trip from Dauphin Island as passengers. Only $5 round trip, and a great experience to be out on the water.

We were going to go through mobile to get to dauphin island but decided to go to Fort morgan and take the ferry. It was a little nippy weather wise but the trip over was so enjoyable. You get close to some oil rigs which was pretty cool to see.

We took the ferry across Mobile bay to Dauphine Island. A full load of about 22 cars on board. It was amazing to see all the oil rigs out in that section of the bay. We had to zig-zag around them. A word of caution, if you want to leave the auto, do so before they guide your car into... More

We tried catching the first ferry of the day. I checked their facebook page for an update prior to leaving and there was not one. By the time we were half way there, there was an update that the first cruise was cancelled due to weather. We waited over an hour for the next cruise. They can't control the weather... More

It was a bummer. The whole weekend we were here it was broken down. Falls under stuff happens. But from here if you can't cross over to Gulf Shores by ferry, it's a very long drive!

Ferry ran on time and staff was helpful. Great ride with views of dolphins, herons, pelicans, and drilling rigs. Both sides of the ferry have elevated viewing platforms for you viewing pleasure or you can just stand on the deck. Only negative for pedestrian travelers is there are no seats to sit in; you have to stand the whole time.
