We went to the park while in the area for the evacuation. There's a wildlife refuge in the area that was a nice treat. It's about 12 miles around. The marina part of the park is pretty also. They have cottages that can be rented....More

This park offer a lot of activities to keep you busy. Whether is fishing, birding or just relaxing, this is a good place to do it. The park appears to be well maintained.

We stayed in the lake front cottages, the bedroom is very nice with queen bed. Does not have a full size fridge but has stove and microwave. Has a back porch to sit and everyone the view of the lake.

We were there over Christmas of 2014, and it was real quiet...only a few campers....We enjoyed it.
