It's incredible what Hank did in his short 29-year lifetime. He was one of the greatest songwriters ever. He had a charisma and magnetism that could not be explained. When he sang at the Grand Ole Opry, he had to be the closer because anyone...More

In this museum, for a mere $5 admission price per person, the tour guide Margaret invites you to go through the whole homeplace and take as many photos as you like. Far cry from the museum in town where no photos are allowed once you...More

This is a great stop for a Hank Williams fan. The museum is the home in which Hank Williams lived from ages 7-11. He got his first guitar during that time and learned to play in this house. The museum consists mostly of newspaper clippings...More

First, the woman who runs the museum is exceptionally informative and knowledgeable on all things Williams. Very nice being able to see how Hank grew up and all the memorabilia in the home. Great souvenirs here too.

The lady that runs it is very nice and extremely knowledgeable. She talked to my husband for almost an hour about country music. If you are a big fan of old traditional country you'll love it. 5$ admission isn't bad either

This is a nice stop for a road trip but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. The museum has a good selection of memorabilia and articles but I'd call it more of a historical site than a museum. Great stop for fans, though.

Georgiana is a small town about an hour south of Montgomery, so if you're heading to Pensacola it's a nice little stop. Not as much in here as there is at the Montgomery museum, but it still has quite a bit. To walk through and...More
