Gulf State Park's two miles of beaches greet you with plenty of white sun-kissed sand, surging surf, seagulls and sea shells, but there is more than sand and surf to sink your toes into. Inside Gulf State Park there is a championship golf course, new beach pavilion, rental cottages, tennis courts, camp sites, hiking trails, Zip Line, and a fishing pier that is 20-feet wide and extends 1,512 feet into the Gulf. This and much more make Gulf State Park the perfect in-state vacation or out-of-state adventure.

The Gulf State Park is a must see. My family has enjoyed coming here for years. We sit under the pier so we don't have to drag an umbrella or covering. It's a cool spot for elderly family members.

The beach is less crowded by far as compared to private condos. We had a great time looking around and the walking trails are fantastic.

This park is awesome!! I loved it so much I want to come back every year!! There is a lot to do at the park and close by. If you have a camper or tent I definitely recommend. Bathrooms were very well kept.

I made the reservation months in advance and two weeks before we were to arrive they called and said the site I reserved had electrical problems and they would have to move us to another site. I didn't like the site they choose to move us to so I... More

Some of the nicest beaches around, beautiful sand, long stretches of undeveloped beach (much like the Outer Banks island of Ocracoke).

This beach was beautiful and well-maintained. The sand was soft and white as powder and the dunes and sea grass added visual interest. There are very nice public bathrooms on the pier and free parking. You can pay a minimal price ($3 for one time and $4 for all day) to use the entire pier. I highly recommend paying the... More

My husband had a great time walking here. Lots of new trails over the marshes. He walked around 2 hours. He said there were more trails that he could hit if there was time.
