Had a great day fishing off the pier. Husband hooked two sharks. I got an eel. Friendly people that work together

We were staying in a condo on Gulf Shores and just walked the beach to the pier. It was beautiful! Just be aware, there is a fee (about $3-$4 per person) to actually get on the pier. We weren't expecting the pier on our first beach walk and didn't have money with us---so we had to better prepare for our... More

We were only at the pier for a few hours, but it was well worth the admission fee. A lot of the fisherman shared stories with us and told us what to look for. We saw pelicans, a 6-foot shark, lots of manta rays, & jellyfish! The public bathrooms are well-kept and there's a small restaurant and vending machines for... More

The day we were there there were sharks swimming around the pier the Dolphins were out there too. The Pelicans sit around the pier waiting for fisherman to throw stuff for them as they are cleaning their fish.

I love to fish and love the sun, so this place was great. We spent the day. We rented a pole and the gentleman at the tackle shop was very helpful. They rigged it up with hook and line, and we bought shrimp for bait. Right away, a shark broke my line! We could see quite a few sharks in... More

Awesome place to visit. It was fun watching the fishermen and women Place is easy to drive to and $4.00 gets you access. Beach is right below so you can visit the beach section too

Beautiful pier to walk and enjoy. I believe it is $3.00 for adults and our boys were free. We love to go closer to sunset and get amazing pictures at the end of the pier. Friendly people fishing, had a man let my oldest fish, it made his week! Would recommend this to anyone visiting the gulf.

Easy access an it is easy to fish here. Although I did not catch one, I saw another person reeling in a large fish. Location is very pretty. Lots of parking. Will come again.

We loved going on the pier and seeing all the fisherman. We saw a variety of birds, jellyfish swimming and even a shark! The pier had snacks you could purchase and prices were good! The kids loved watching the fisherman and even families fish.
