The US space and rocket center was very neat to see, there was a 25$ per person entry fee. Which I thought was a tad overkill. But later found out that if you have your military ID Or student ID that it is reduced price. So that's pretty nice. There were several things to see. A lot of reading. I'd... More

People do not realize that Huntsville is the center of excellence for the development of missiles (defensive, NASA, and offensive) and technology. Yet, one visit to the US Space and Rocket Center will leave you speechless at times in terms of the technology and capabilities that were developed in Huntsville. The place is laid out well - and the various... More

I visited here while on business in the area. First, as active military, I was able to get in free. Otherwise, it can be an expensive outing. You are able to learn a lot here about space exploration, which I wasn't particularly interested in before this visit. You will be able to learn about the smallest details. Highly recommend!

Many of the rockets and missiles are showing the wear and tear of being in the sun......needs some TLC. Although interesting you can see many of these elsewhere. The highlight is the full sized Saturn... More

The men in white coats are the no so hidden gems. These guys are the "REAL" treasures. They all were integral components of the Space Program. Ask and learn!

Recently I had the honor of attending with my grand child and his 2nd grade class. What fun to watch him participate in the experiments, rock wall climbing and rides. We just didn't have enough time

I hesitated to go because of the price. In the end I was so glad we did! Great place for both young and old. Fun, interesting things to see and do.

If you are at all interested in the space program, this is the place for you. I grew up during the Apollo Project (Yea, I'm old). The history on the space program is tremendous !! Allow for a full day to read and enjoy the hands on and films to be watch.
