We visit the garden almost year round. This time of year is so gorgeous with all the beds full of blooming bulbs. Seas of tulips and daffodils and many other blooms. The garden is beautifully maintained and a wonderful place to walk if you are excercising or to take children with its many child friendly venues. We keep a membership... More

My kids and I traveled from Atlanta to visit the botanical garden for the first time. I'll get my only criticism out of the way first. We were most excited about the butterfly garden, but when we got there, it was closed for maintenance until further notice. We were so disappointed! I wish their website, which I checked the day... I visit the area but it wasn't the best time because it wasn't bloomed out yet. I was told the best time is around April/May time frame. But they have a trail you can walk and bird watching going on this time.

An amazing gem hidden away on a less traveled road. From the time you enter - you are surprised by the layout and simplicity of the walking paths and the quiet nature of the environment. You are able to enjoy the environment without bumping into people and still have time to sit back and enjoy the view. While we visited... More

I have taken grandchildren here to enjoy all the fun things for kids, and I have taken adult friends because it's also a beautiful fun place for big kids.

Love to visit any time of the year. The gardens are beautiful even in the winter. Christmas lights are a awesome sight. Weekends are very busy during the Christmas season

Excellent place to spend an afternoon walking and enjoying flowers, birds and nature in general. My daughter loves the children garden and the butterfly house is definitively a favorite. Totally worth a visit, and if you leave in Huntsville or close by, I do recommend the membership :)

This place has themed garden areas, an incredible butterfly house, a large children's area with lots of fun activities, special events for all ages, plant sales, adult and homeschool classes, spring break and summer camps...And opening this spring is a new, iconic lakeside 30,000 square foot Guest Center with a restaurant, gift shop, rental facilities, and lots of warm southern...
