With so many trails to walk / run / bike and places for kids to play (huge playground) as well as athletic fields, this park has it all. Nature lovers will enjoy the serenity and beautiful plants and creeks that cascade down the sides of...More
A day at Monte Sano State Park with the kids was a great way to explore and enjoy our quality time together. Our kids loved it so much that couldn't wait to go back another day. My wife and I enjoy getting out the house...More
We like this place and enjoy walking here, and one day we will likely look into renting one of the cabins for a weekend staycation. The scenery is gorgeous, but at $7.00 per person, we feel that it is overpriced. We've been to probably 50...More

Actually I dont think so, but u could call and ask because I haven't been on all the trials. The ones I was on seem rather difficult. I would like to recommend Aldridge Creek Greenway, located off Bailey cove Road, South. I think address is 1100 Mountain Gap Road, free parking the Park, then cross over the bridge and walk down the sidewalk to,the creek. This greenway goes for miles and has side walks on both sides of the creek. Also I would recommend Hayes Nature Trial in Owens Cross Roads. Free parking and has flat trials, a beautiful lake and much easier to navigate: also has some trials that have sidewalks.
