We went at Betalbatim in late morning and it was serene and peaceful beach. Shacks at beach are cheaper, good and provide you option of shower after swimming without any additional cost. Beach was way better than any other beach at North Goa, infact one of best beach I have seen in India.

Famed among the locals for picinic .....especially on holidays and weekends has a lots of huts .....most of the visitors to the beach are the ones living in the resorts nearby ......the beach is less bussy especially on week days and its a 80 % sand beach and 20 % shells beach in summer ......small waves and beautiful sunsets...

I like this beach for a few reasons , there are about 6 shacks all ok , the sea is near if your a bit lazy , or just watching the kids. Parking is just a stroll away from the beach next to Nanu hotel . There are no beach sellers here , as the shack owners got to together... More

We found this beach hidden behind the Nanu resort, and even though it was a little crowded for our taste, loved it because of the awesome shack we found! :) Overall the beach had water sports on offer, clean white sand, warm water - staple almost for most southern beaches in Goa. It was fairly crowded during sunset, but peaceful... More

One of the beautiful and best beaches in Goa. Less crowded and clean. Visited twice - once in the morning and the next at dusk. I could see cows and dogs enjoying the beach - please see the photograph.
