Interesting to walk around either just to pass time or shop. Pricier than most parts of India but this is a tourist location. Season was bad for traders so they were bearish with their prices, nice change. Roads are dusty

The most busiest street in North Goa, really. Lots of people, mostly locals, are peacefully hanging around this street.

my husband has been wanting to buy the Gandhiji’s 3 monkeys and he made sure to stop at all shops which had something like that, but either he didn’t like it or the locals were quoting exorbitant prices since we were tourists. However, thankfully, he liked the statues at holiday street and surprising there was no attempt at coming us... More

i bought the gandhis 3 monkeys statue from here at a reasonable price, considering that the locals are pretty much out to con you. so i recommend holiday street to shop and also to relax by the beach. nothing more goa than a sundeck with a nice book and tender coconut water or beer, whichever is your poison.

First time in Goa, First day, First beach to visit... For me it was really a damn good experience... Midnight parties, not so many people are there in night for party, but who ever is available is ready to enjoy to their fullest... Dance till you are down... First day and the last day,, both were same... same energy and... More

Holiday Street in Calangute, Goa is my favorite. It is a perfect holiday getaway due to its proximity to all the major attractions, yet being aloof from the maddening crowd which throngs Goa in the peak season. Let me first start describing the street so that you will know what to expect. As soon as you enter the street, there... More

Shops are decently priced. Some excellent BnB accomodations are lined on this street. Few good dining options as well. At end of the street you are rewarded with a quieter part of calangute with nice shacks - the only beach where we found shacks with swings and hammocks :)

This is a hip little street tucked away in Calangute Goa. It's a specially good place to stay off season since a lot of the restaurants stay open. A good place for a bite or a walk or even a bit of shopping.
