Guide picked us up and dropped us off from our accommodation. The bike ride went through the palm tree and rubber plantations. The guide knew all the routes and the local animals and plants. Had a great time!

It was so much fun! We drove through small roads, fields and a river. Alias, our guide is very funny and knows a lot about local fauna and flora. A fun way to explore Malacca.
Alias even showed us a nice local place to eat.
So don't hesitate, just go!

En. Alias was very accommodating. Went on a morning trip with my aunt, mom, husband and my 11 y.o brother. Had a great time exploring the countryside of Malacca this time, a new experience in this state. En. Alias was easy to communicate with and was on time and knowledgeable. The journey was smooth and I would recommend him to others. I would start sooner instead of at 8.30am. 7.30 would probably be much better due to the heat rising by 10.30am. A point of improvement would be for En. Alias to give a short, sweet note beforehand to get a padded bike pants if needed. I have a skin condition and due to the seat being slightly hard, my skin bruised by the 3rd hour to a point where I couldn't cycle anymore. But, he was very helpful in that situation. Grateful for that. 😊

We had a great night cycling tour with Alias and his son. He was very knowledgeable on all the local flora and fauna and was very enthusiastic in passing on this knowledge. He stopped periodically to tell us more about the process of rubber harvesting and the palm oil plantations, as well as picking some of the herbs and plants along the rojt for us to smell. We were also fortunate enough to see wild porcupines, which is a very rare occurrence! The pace was steady and suitable for the range of cycling abilities in our group and we managed to cover a lot of ground during the tour. I would recommend this tour wholeheartedly! Thanks very much, Alias.

Alias picked us up as arranged and communications had been good. The cycle starts from his family home and he weaves through the local plantations showing you the native and imported crops and domestic plants, herbs and flowers. He has clear political views about palm oil and where that places Malaysia in the world economy and his thoughts on that were interesting. The cycling is mainly on small plantation roads and off road on flat tracks- we found this easy going but we regularly cycle anyway. There was shade and a light breeze and water was provided. We thought this was a great way to see local village life and hear about the farming economy from a Malaysian point of view. Highly recommended.

We loved our Melaka on Bike trip recently. Alias is so knowledgeable and we enjoyed his stories and tales. He entertained our children (4 & 6) by showing them his childhood toys - freshly made rubber balls and the original fidget spinners. The ride was great through the villages, my Dad had a child seat on the back of his bike for our youngest and I had a trailer-bike for my eldest so she could also pedal. They loved the fact that we saw monkeys, chickens, cats, buffalo and so many different types of fruits and herb. Plus we saw the rubber being tapped and the palms being harvested. Just brilliant

I had a hugely enjoyable and instructive morning with Alias who is a mine of information on the local area. My preconceptions on palm oil plantations were challenged and I saw a different perspective on how there are sustainable ways to cultivate palm oil.

From a cycling point of view, there are well-maintained bikes and easy cycling even for those who are not a regular cyclists. Alias is inspirational in demonstrating how you can follow your passion.
