About
The Malacca Heritage Centre is a place untouched by time, where a unique heritage has been meticulously maintained. A museum that is still a family and ancestral home, it is filled with the objects and spirit of the Peranakan culture of Malacca, as it has been for more than a hundred years.

Best heritage city in Malaysia
Dec 2019
Spend 3 days 2 nights in Melaka. It's just a small city, maybe 1 night is just enough for touring. The highly recommend tourist point is Jonker Street, the white sand dunes in Pantai Klebang, and the old heritage building. Malacca is also famous for foods such as the famous chicken rice balls, Nyonya dishes, dodol, gula Melaka, etc. It was quite crowded when I visited because it was on school holidays.

Perfect spot for sightseeing
Dec 2019
We are travelling from Kuala Lumpur and on our way stop in Pink Mosque (Putra Mosque) located near the scenic Putrajaya Lake and of the famous landmark in Putrajaya and one of the most modern mosques in the world.

Malacca is the oldest Malaysian City that is rich heritage & perfect spot for sights seeing. We found Jonker street fascinating. It is the centre street of Chinatown, loads shops, crafts outlets & restaurant. They also have night market on Friday & Saturday.

Apart from rich history, Malacca is also known for foodie – local people or Malaysian from other places & tourists came to have the famous/best chicken rice balls.

Hot in the day but happening on the Saturday Night
Aug 2019
It is a must visit street if you go to Malacca, you can see all kinds of shops, restaurants, souvenirs, maybe one or two temples. It is hot to walk in the days but in the night, it is a nice place to hangout. There are a few drinking bars, cheap yet comfortable. There is a hardrock cafe in front of Jonker Street.

A very professionally guided tour by Angel. Thankyou, you were so full of interesting pieces of information about the family and culture. A great insight to the more traditional side of Melakan life.

A must............

A real gem if you’re interested history, furniture and design.
Lots of rooms filled with quality pieces of furniture etc.
A bonus for us today was that we met a member of the family who own the house.
This charming couple made us most welcome and supplied food and drinks free of charge( you don’t get that at the V and A in London)

Malacca has important history in South East Asia, old city with full history of colonialism.
You'll find many colonial architectue that preserved well beside inculturation buildings.
