I would advise if you had additional time and want to chill out. Enjoyed view for the riverside. Best view is to sit in front side as I missed out some nice place to take photos.

An average river can but the cruise around the city is great. View was nice, big and gorgeous hotels, wall paintings and the heritage city.

Yes that is possible, take a bus from Hentian Bas Bentayan in Malacca. It costs around 20RM. Bus i took was airconditioned and clean.
