We cruised the Melaka River in the evening. We had a good view of the colorfully lit bridges and sidewalks along the river. There were many cafes and eateries which offered a relaxing evening to tourists. We saw many beautiful murals on the buildings. Kampong...More

The Riverside and the River is a must to see. Dutch old houses painted maroon and old British houses painted white can be seen along the riverside.

Its a nice thing i guess to have a river in the middle of a city. Adding to the features of the place. Go to one of the many resto or bars facing the river and enjoy the view there. Highly recommended.

Ride the river boat along this historical river and see the old and new, The backs of shops and houses painted with pictures of Melaka that tell stories of times gone by. Plants are neatly cared for and bridges are well looked after.
