Built to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1901, the fountain is an addition to the Dutch Square. Each of the colonial power that controlled Malacca left imprints of their rule around the area and the Brits left this edifice. Not bad looking fountain actually....More

This is a still functioning fountain more than 100-year old. There are many colorful (and probably copyright-infringing) bicycle taxis around it. There is a road with old buildings, leading to the fountain. You can also find Christ Church Melaka, facing the fountain.

This is located at the centre of Melka where you will find tourists sitting and people approaching you for the pedal powered tuk tuk rides around town.

Piece of British history in the middle of Dutch Square. Erected in 1904 by the people of Malacca in memory of Queen Victoria. Looking good for 114 years old!

This fountain was built in early 1800 when Malacca was under the Britain's colonization. Very beautiful fountain stood right in front of the famous Christ Church Melaka

This is where people are dropped off to explore the city. Queen Vick fountain is a hot spot for visitors waiting to take tuk tuk rides. Little market selling cheap treasure and watermelon drinks to keep u hydrated.

The fountain is located in Dutch Square, which should be included as part of your visit to Malacca. It's not spectacular, but serves as a reminder of the British colonial presence.
