Part of US history that mustn’t be forgotten. Well done exhibits and stories bring it all to life. It also goes further to the next battles. The memorial itself was fenced off when we got there for building work which was a shame.

The fountain at the entrance was being remodeled , the interior was wonderful. The descriptions and artifacts very informative. We got to put our names on the large display screen as a supporter of the museum!

Unfortunately, the Civil Rights Memorial was closed during our visit, as it was undergoing some repairs due to a water main issue. We will return to Montgomery to see this and a few other sites we weren't able to get to on this visit. The...More

I apologize fo the delay. The National Museum for Peace and Justice is open Sunday 9-5. Go there first. The Civil Rights Memorial is outside and accessible 24 hours a day. Thanks for visiting!

The Civil Rights Memorial I accessible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The Center is not open on Sunday. Please stop by!
