A group of us went to see the play The Tempest. The theater is a wonderful structure and the the actors in this particular play were superb.

We went to an awesome performance of The Two Gentlemen of Verona. The Octagon (intimate theatre inside) is a super cute little venue and the entire brick building is really beautiful! Definitely a great place to visit in Montgomery.

I had not been here in 11 years! "The Tempest" brought me back. When I discovered that it was premiering on a weekend when I was free, I decided to go. I was not disappointed. The facility is excellent, and the productions are first-rate. It was as good as I remembered. I hope that it is around a lot longer.... More

Seats close to the stage, this experience was wonderful. Truly enjoyed the play. The actors did a masterful job and this brought back wonderful childhood memories from when I was a budding thespian.

Our group booked the backstage tour on opening night of one of the plays. We were captivated by the facility and all that goes into the production of a play. We got to see stage set ups, carpentry and costume departments. It was very impressive to see their backstage operations. The play was wonderful and the actors were unforgettable. So... More

We saw "Because of Winn Dixie" at the Alabama Shakespeare theater. We purchased our tickets on line and picked them up at will call. From first to last everyone we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The play was outstanding! Professional Broadway actors, great singing and a powerful and moving story. This is our first time here, but we are... More

This is a great don't miss attraction in Alabama, there is always something new to see and it is very user friendly. We have take my niece and nephews when they were sub-teens until they were adults. They enjoyed everything from Hamlet to A Christmas Carol. We have also attended with our adult girl friends from work. We use to... More

Watching a Christmas Carol with family was a real delight. The theater was nice, clean & warm. And the bathrooms were clean. The concessions had reasonably priced snacks. I didn't partake at the bar but it was popular.

This is one of the beautiful place to visit in Montgomery. The surroundings of the theater is awesome, it has small lake full of ducks and beautiful park. The show itself was enjoyable, my daughter really love it.
