Our second trip to Prattville. Our group of eight played the Judge once & the Senator twice. I personally like the scenic beauty of the Judge better than the Senator. Both courses had tough undulating greens - but in good shape. Staff in pro shop, restaurant, beverage carts and bag area were very friendly. We had lunch twice and breakfast... More

We again played the Judge this year, and the experience was good as usual. The course was in fine Spring shape, with help from the minimal Winter. The staff were friendly as always and the rangers kept the weekend golfers moving.

This is a little slice of Britain right here in Alabama, I think there was one tree on the entire course, and a generous supply of moguls and traps. The course can be scored on, but you better be able to read greens, and putt from long distances. This is the first time I've played a links style course in... More

Although I have reviewed this course a few times I really wish to say that this is one of the best golfing facility the RTJ Trail has to offer! Three superb courses - every one of them extremely well maintained and since we were here at the beginning of November we noticed the problems with the continuing lack of rain... More

The Judge course is a fun, picturesque course on the Robert Trent Jones Trail in Prattville, AL. Greens are in great shape, but very hard to get birdies.

After playing a disappointingly slow almost 5 1/2 hour round at Ross Bridge, playing at the Capitol was fabulous! The bag drop men were welcoming, charming and couldn't be more helpful. The pros shop attendants were professional. And the Judge Course was amazingly beautiful. The pace of play was leisurely, yet it moved along well. It took 4-1/4 hours to... More

As usual, the golf assistants greet you with smiling faces, as they set your group up for a day of golf with friends. The Legislator course was in great shape. Course marshalls did little to get slow group to speed up. Normal course cart girl and bar service. Good, as usual.

The Judge is a " must do" on any RTJ Trail golf excursion. Hole #1 is the most scenic and photographed hole on trail. Jaw dropping beauty!! New photo opportunities around every turn. The greens this week were killers. At least a 13 on Stimp meter. PGA Tour speed. Like putting on mirrors. Made for very frustrating scores. Good fun... More

Was planning to go to Florida but. Matthew changed that. Decided to go to RTJ Trail. It was totally awesome. The whole experience was wat beyond our expectations. Staff was wonderful and courses were in great shape. Would have hoped price more reasonable but it keep rift raft out. Got paired up with others both days and playing partners were... More

Ok really if you golf at all you need to visit any or all of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail locations. All are public, great and this one has 3 diverse courses. Do your research and hit up a couple while you are traveling thru Alabama. This is investing back into your state at its finest!!!
