Really pack when it comes to the holiday season. You virtually needs to fight for a spot on the cruise to have a good view. or you can pay a bit more money to have a better view, but it is really not worth it. Just put up your hands and snap away will do... :)

Our tour arranged in evening, and it was raining that time. really hard to capture some nice pictures> But we still have been impressed by the nice view both side, together with our guests from overseas. Specially when it was getting dark, the lightening building around looks better than we expected. If take the tour when with nice weather, I... More

Average is a true rating for this cruise. The boat travels very slowly (3 knots from memory) for about 45 minutes then turns around & comes back the same route. Didn't go very far & hardly saw more than I would have standing on the wharf. Lights on the buildings & some other boats were spectacular but don't need to... More

This is really a good way to see both sides of shanghai, The Bund and Pudong, by going on the cruise you can also see that the tall buildings do continue however also you can see that the river is also a working river catering for not just passenger boats. Just make sure that you take a jacket, in case... More

We probably had a better experience than most on the Huangpu River cruise we took from the dock near the Pearl Tower. We happened to be early for the cruise and lined up as soon as some workers showed up at the gate, so we were one of the first people on and got a good window seat that we... More

I did an evening cruise and it was really crowded.I couldn't have a good view.Even the part of the ship that you could pay more to have a seat was crowded and the view was not that much good. I walked by the bund the evening before the cruise and the view was much better.

I've done the cruise from here before up and down the river, yet i found it much more enjoyable to take the quick shuttle from the bund to the other side in 10mins; I was still able to get afew great pics; I wasn't surrounded by ten million people taking selfies; and at the other end i could get off... We did and evening cruise and it was one of the best experiences in Shanghai. They will take you up to the Bund and you will have a great views, from the ship, of the financial district buildings. Highly recommend!

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
