There are dozens of galleries and studios in this rustic complex with a lot of interesting art work and a lot of "too much art" art work. The overall quality is similar to Chelsea but the space is more unique . Many coffee shops around

A little out of the way - Shanghai Railway Station is the nearest metro stop and then it's a fairly long hike from there - this enclave is well worth discovering. It's packed with galleries amongst old factories and workshops and the area is well...More

This is a collection of art galleries that appears to be sort of cobbled together with no real spirit or sense. Few places to eat while touring. Many closed or shuttered shops. This needs another few years to get some traction. Not worth it today.

It is a nice place for taking photo. It was raining when we were there so we did not see much. Some rooms closed but it was a good and nice place to visit.

It is a very nice art district area utilizing renovated old warehouses into individual art galleries. You need to take a taxi there but when you want to leave it is very difficult to get a taxi.

Great art galleries and shops! There are also a few cafes and coffee shops to regain some energy while you peruse. You can often meet the artists too!

As others have said, yes. It's about 10-15 minutes from the Central Train Station. It's a nice walk over the Suzhou river.

Agreed, no ticket needed. But you have to get there, and it's a bit out of the way, so there's a time investment, even if there's no fee.
