Better go to market adjacent to Shanghai science & technology museum subway station for amazing deals and nice stuff. Experience with shopkeepers in Qipu road has been very pathetic and rude.

Easy to access via the subway or a 15-20mins walk from East Nanjing Road. Bought some clothes at very reasonable prices. But do beware of people bugging you for imitation of luxury bags etc.
