It had been years since I last came here and surprised that the mall was so empty. Not the shops but visitors. I am sure there are more people outside at the overhead bridge. My guess this mall is a passe.

Super brand mall is located next to the Pearl Tower, it's a big mall but it's so dated and a bit dark compared with new modern malls. It has mostly everything you need though, except from the feeling of being in a modern place. When...More

It's a large mall with 10 floors of shops (8 + 2 basement levels) and restaurants. The usual chain stores are here - a little more upmarket ones generally. For food, the restaurants are on the 8th floor. But there is a Food Opera on...More

This is a huge family mall in lujiazui pudong. The usual suspects are there - hundreds of low to mid-level brands (Zara, uniqlo etc.), scores of restaurants, cinema Nothing really stands out but somewhere to bring the family too if needed

Visited Super Brand Mall in August. Best shops are first few floors - Zara, Mango, Calvin Klein, Sephora. CK is ~20% more expensive than AUS prices. Good food selection on basement floor and large supermarket (also in basement)

It is the first mall to be built when this area of Shanghai was opened for development. It now looks a little tired. Houses international brands like H&M and Uniqlo. There is a local supermarket at the basement. Right at the door step is the...More

When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline,
it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are
speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are
located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring
road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic
bars fill the highrises around the area. As is
characteristic of a world-class financial business
district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can

Dear Zahra Salaams I note in your post about Super Brand Mall (Shanghai) you mentioned that on the second floor there is a good Muslim food section. Could you be a little more specific - which restaurants? I arrived in Shanghai last night and will be staying here for 3 months, in the Shangri La hotel (which is virtually next door to the Super Brand Mall). I need some help and guidance on where to find halal food. Thanks Isfand
