Have been there a few times and never disappointed. There is a small shop on ground floor, exhibitions on next floors and a cafe/library on top where you can chill and enjoy some books. You might need to check on the exhibition before as sometime...More

Absolute scam. Paid 50RMB each to see nothing but white walls. Asked for a refund but was refused. Explanation was that the empty space was a form of expression... are you kidding me? This place should be avoided at all costs.

Three floors of white, almost empty nothing in July 2017 . Top floor - sunlight through skylight may make afternoon patterns. Third floor light bulbs and a noise like running fingers round a glass. Other floor a projected clock and ill fitting blinds raised and...More

This was the first time I hear about this museum thanks to the recommendation of some friends and it was an absolute delight. Beautiful building and the Song Dong exhibition was really amazing. Great place for all contemporary art lovers.

A building with a history! Often changing exhibitions for art lovers, and sometimes the exhibition is not worth, but the neighborhood is very inspiring.

Having had high expectations with this venue being near the Bund and continually praised in Time Out Shanghai, I was hugely disappointed. It was very small and hosted a strange exhibition. Unfortunately one of the main art pieces on the whole 3rd floor was completely...More

A contemporary art exhibition space is always only going to be as good as the current exhibition and it's not my intention to rate the art here, but more the venue. We saw Song Dong's 'I don't know the mandate of heaven', which was a...More

shanghai knows contemporari art, and they do show very rellevant things. On our visit RAM showed Felix Gonsales-Torrez (yes, again, but still we just love him). Exept for this, its a quit posh location, French caffee around, European vibes, and generally you feel like not...More

This is a nice little gallery, but because it is quite small it doesn't have permanent exhibition space and your experience is going to depend largely on what's going on in the three gallery spaces. On the day I was there, one of them was...More

Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has
endured over time and is now found in the five-star
