The park was a pleasant surprise. Loved the energy- the local people getting together and doing activities together. The flowers, the monuments, the basking, it was really awesome- worth going if the weather and pollution isn't bad- and definitely go on a saturday.

People's Square is the central point of the Shanghai city. It was earlier race course. It is located west of the Bund. Nicely maintained.

The place achieves its main goal: imprint the might of the authorities that reside nearby. It is a good starting point for Nanjing road area, though, but no need to spend too much time.

Spent the morning in the park, enjoying the different activities and views. Lots to do in the park and was great to see families enjoying a beautiful day. Easy to get to and well signposted in English.
