The People's Square is a surprisingly green space in the heart of Shanghai. The crowds are typically not massive and you can enjoy some serenity in the heart of the city.

As usual, the People's Square is a very large open space in the city. The square is very well maintained and there is a great display of flowers. The Museum, Grand Theatre, Municipal Government Mansion and the Exhibition Hall provide some very interesting architecture.
