Cost is 220 to get to the very top and well worth it. We went at 5 PM and hardly anyone there. Well organized and the glass floor that circles the entire tower was amazing. Looking down, not for the faint of heart.

Despite the existance of other tall buildings in Shanghai, this tower in my perspective is still the icon of Shangia due to its unique design and located within the center of CBD. This building is a must to see, I would even recommend to take...More

Enjoyed this aspect of Shanghai, even though not a particularly clear day. The cviewing deck challenging to step onto and the view to the future of this amazing city worth considering.Loved the river from above.

Offers an excellent view, although the Shanghai Tower is much higher now. The museum is the basement, included in the price, is very attractive.

Wherever you are in the tourist areas you can see this stunning icon that symbolises modern shanghai. A ticket up to the observation deck is available as part of the 48 hour hop on/off bus tour. A must do thing when you are in Shanghai!

Many say this tower is tacky but I think it's quirky and unusual! A fun and memorable tower that makes the skyline unmistakably Shanghai!

Three hour trip to get up and back. Queuing for multiple lifts. The highest point is viewed through scratched Perspex so not a good view.

We arrive in Shanghai on 28th July - we are travelling with Viking Cruises. We arrive early in the morning and have the day spare. We are thinking of visiting the Pearl Tower. Do we need to book in advance? We are already visiting the museum with Viking so can we buy tickets for the tower only? If it is possible, when is the best time to visit. Thank you for your help.

No need to book. Best time depends on weather, whether there is visibility or not and if you like day or night. Night is magic in Shanghai but you don't need to be high to enjoy the night skyline.

Do I need to make advanced booking online or do I just buy the entrance ticket when I reach the tower? (estimated visit date is on 19th February 2017). Is the skywalk on the glass deck is included in the entrance fee ? Thanks before.

You do not need to buy online. CAn do it when you get there. Easy. No need to buy the upper part of the tower. Yes the glass walk is included as part of the ticket. Enjoy
