It’s a beautifully restored part of old Shanghai that has great shopping and resturants. We went there for dinner, and it’s lovely to have dinner outside at one of the many resturants in Xin Tian Di. Will definitely recommend everyone to try it!

Gobs of high end shops with prices to match. There is really nothing to do here but eat and shop. Well, you can watch the beautiful women in their spike heels walking their purebred dogs. That was the most interesting thing about Xintiandi

The refurbishment of a block of old shikumen into a
carless entertainment center called Xintiandi, filled

below South Huangpi Road into one of Shanghai’s most
fashionable areas. Luxe condos house people who can
afford the high-end brands that fill the malls and
shops along Madang Road. The pleasant Taipinghu Park
provides the area with green space and is also home to

Two really good hotels nearby - Andaz and Langham. There is also a Holidypay Inn in the Jiading District but this is a bit farther away.
