The gardens are beautifully manicured and a definite must when in Shanghai. It is only a few dollars to enter and definitely worth a look around.

The garden area is absolutely beautiful however, a bit crowded which is expected considering the amount of people in Shanghai.

In the middle of the bustling crowded city, it is a welcome relief to wander through the gardens, watch and feed the abundant coi in the pond (buy fish food outside the entry gate to the gardens before purchasing your ticket).

Lovely gardens and architecture to relax and unwind in. Has little maze like walkways which you can explore and don't know where you will end up. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Experience the old Shanghai from the British times. Of course, it is artificial but still gives you a good experience
