Small park neighbours with Yu garden park just kilometre from the Bund. It was full of people with kids. Some trees 🌲 decoration, small ponds and a lot of people during weekend. Not so much to sit in quiet 🤫 place

A lovely spacious green area between the river and Yu Gardens. With places to sit and enjoy some shade and a coffee. Elderly people, young families, business people and tourists just enjoying the day.

Gucheng Park is less popular than some parks, but this is part of it's charm. Located at the end of the Bund and towards Yu Garden, Gucheng is less crowded affording the space to rest and lower your guard. Security personnel maintain the rules, but...More

A nice little park with great views of the city alongside some great greenery amongst the concrete jungle

Now-this is a park you can rest, see the greenery and enjoy an afternoon of quiet peace--instead of its better known cousin down the street Yuyuan Garden. Plus it is free!! It doesn't have the famous rocks, nor a stream running through with the "history"...More

We crossed the park on our way to Bund from Yu Garden, frankly it was the most mediocre one i saw among the many i came across in China. Just a place to pass though, that's all.

After visiting Yuyuan Old Street and Yuyuan Garden, I headed to this park to take a break and rest my legs. It was so peaceful here, compared to the crowded Yuyuan Old Street. There was an open space ground as well as a bamboo garden....More

Very close to Yuyuan Garden and the Temple of God. Peaceful spot in the middle of the chaos. Free to enter. There is even a place to fish for goldfish. I always thought they ate food flakes, but we saw a young girl hoping to...More

This park is between the bund and yu garden. A funny park since there are guards to blow their loud shrill whistles if you step on the grass. So you can't picnic or enjoy nature up close. Understandable, since this is china. Lots of old...More

The garden is next to the Yuyan Gardens looking out over Pudong and The Bund. It is a good place to pause and enjoy the view - look out for the "Russian" dancers at the park entrance, towards The Bund. They are elderly Chinese women...More

Shanghai’s original walls live on in the curve of the
streets that serve as the border to the old city. An
aerial view shows a clear circular outline and parts
of the original wall are preserved as monuments to the
ancient past. The main tourist attraction of Yuyuan
(which means Yu garden, though it is often redundantly
referred to as Yuyuan Garden) draws hordes of tourists
every day, but wandering the streets around the
