This book centre has numerous books in its seven floors but all of them are in simplified Chinese. If you don't know this language then don't come here.

It is an impressive 7th floor bookstore on Fuzhou road that has a big variety of books, therefore it is considered a book Paradise for Chinese people and it is very crowded. Expats flock to Shanghai Book City as one entire floor is devoted to English-language books. Grab a Starbucks coffee from the cafe inside the multi-level bookstore and spend a rainy day just flipping through pages. There is an entire floor for kids as well with a mix of books, small reading rooms, hands-on activity tables (for an additional fee), music,... More

You can possibly find every book you ever wanted, in mandarin of course. Only drawback is that the place is huge and you would need to seek the help of the information... More
