The family owned and operated natural hot springs, which allow only a limited number of guests each day, provide a private, relaxing oasis during your vacation. There are five pools, one with a cascading waterfall, which reach up to 108 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no better way to unwind after a long day than by visiting the hot springs and treating your body to its naturally replenishing effects. When taking a break from the soothing hot springs, you can dine in the authentic, home-style Costa Rican restaurant.

We booked the evening session at Ecotermales and would recommend it. A tour bus pulled up as we entered but we never felt crowded since they have a 100 person limit and there are multiple pools, a bar, and restaurant that everyone is spread out...More

We had a group reservation from five to seven and the buffet dinner. There are lickers to put personal belongings and they provide towels. The paths leading to the hot spring water pools are slippery so the handrails help there. It was raining and the...More

This was a pleasant expereince. Waters were hotter than Tabacon. 104. which was nice. The natural surroundings weer beautiful. Really appreciated that you could use your wristband to order drinks. The drinks were the best I had in La Fortuna! The food was ok.

A really different experience. The 6 external hot pools are marginally different temperatures (apart from one "cold" one which was c 27c). The bar is great value - some of the cheapest and best cocktails we have had in Costa Rica.

My friend and I went in the evening and it was quite busy but there were some kids as well. I think it is fine, but I would say that it is likely much much busier in the evening from what I hear. Hope that helps.
