The springs are a lot of fun, there are enough things to keep both adults and kids happy. We stayed for dinner, but it was average, at best. Buffet style, with Costa Rican staples, but not especially tasty. Desert was not good.

Our stay at Los Lagos was very relaxing and stress free. From the hot spring pools, beautiful rooms, amazing restaurant to the gift shop and lobby staff... everything was very nice and casual. Loved our visit here and would definitely go back again!

My 14-year-old son and I went here after a day of rafting, and it was very pleasant. It was fun to explore the different pools, and we enjoyed the waterslides. I'm not sure we needed any more time that we spent there (about 3 hours,...More

We went here at night, it was amazing! Giant mushroom/umbrella-like sculptures provide shelter from the rain or sun, underwater lights change colour, there are many different pools at different temperatures, swim up bar in the main area, water slides.... No sulphur smell. You can hire...More

Participated in the canopy tour / zip lining excursion, which was quite exhilarating with amazing scenery. The guides were safety conscientious and friendly, pointing out local animals and offering to do the "Tarzan Swing" at no additional cost. It was an added bonus that you...More

Yes, you can get day passes which include lockers, and all the pools. I'm sorry I do not know how much they cost. I just know the evening time was $15. It was my favorite time of day to go.
