Enjoyed a browse here among some beautiful wooden handicrafts and found a couple of great gifts for people at home. A large variety to choose from. Owners prefer to work in $US rather than colones. Prices are similar to elsewhere. Some interesting and original carvings...More

The gentleman was very helpful and had a great selection of wood crafts/ pottery/ and other items. The items we saw here were cheaper than in town and all the products are made from himself, or local partners.

We stopped by this wonderful wood art gallery. What brilliant wood art pieces, that are hand craved and we want to buy all of them. We bought a really wonderful wood craving that definitively represents the fabulous time we had.

Lots of HUGE wood sculptures that were cool to see. Other wood products for sale. Prices just slightly lower than beach vendors and stores. Enjoyed watching them use chain saws and other woodworking tools to make the wood items.

I loved this shop. I desperately wanted every piece. La Fortuna is definately the place to find well priced Costa Rican wood carvings.

We purchased a nice wooden bowl. It was carefully wrapped by the cashier (paper and bubble wrap) to help survive the trip home. I really enjoyed the woodwork in the shop and would have loved to purchase more.
