We bought a package from an Adventure company located in La Fortuna including entrance, transportation, and guide. It was expensive and I knew it would be much more reasonable if we just took a taxi there, but was assured the guide was a very experienced wildlife guide. That was not the case! Michael did not have his own stand-up binoculars,... More

Overall experience I have to give this hanging bridges walk is a 5 because the views were absolutely incredible, however do not go to expect to see animals. The only animals we saw were before entering the park and it was a group of ant eaters. We were so excited to see monkey's or some sort of action in the... More

Great Day to visit the bridges...sun was out. Saw two red frogs (blue jeans dart frog); two pit vibes snakes, monkeys, birds, waterfalls and the volcanoes. The park trail is very nice, clean, well maintained. Enjoyable experience.

For a family of 4, we paid $78 (three adults and one child under 10 years). We walked slowly and scoured the forest for 2 hours and didn't see a single animal.... No frogs, no sloths, no monkeys, nothing. Total disappointment. The self-guided walk is worth more like $10 to experience the hanging bridges. But for the price we paid,... More

The Hanging Bridges was included in our tour. If you just want a (relatively) easy walk through Cloud Forest then this is something worth considering. If you want to feel that you are in virgin territory then perhaps give it a miss. To get the best from your visit I would strongly advise that you dig a bit deeper into... More

Amazing tour to see the rainforest naturally and safely across the bridges. Marcos was our tour guide and he is full of knowledge about the area! We learned so much! The rafting in the afternoon made the tour the perfect combination of adventure and knowledge. A must do!

Incredible experience, you can see a lot of fauna in their own place! Very exciting! We can see monkeys, slots, butterflies, etcetera. Really near from hotels complex and Arenal National Parks. Posibility to make arrangements in other kind of tour via frontdesk staff.

We took a guided tour of the hanging bridges and got to see lots of creatures we would not have spotted on our own including a tiny but beautiful frog that had a red body and bright blue legs. We also saw snakes and spiders and learned the difference between poisonous and venomous. We even saw a sloth that was... More

The hike was awesome, even in the rain. Be sure to bring a poncho. You are sure to get wet. We saw lots of critters.
