Did a short visit last month. It was very interesting to talk with the staff at the refuge. It seems like a new wildlife protection law is making illegal owners return a number of species before any penalties apply. Worth visiting this place in order...More

Multigenerational family group enjoyed insightful tour by gracious bilingual volunteer. This nonprofit, volunteer-run facility cares for a range of animals displaced by forest fires or abandoned by owners unable care for wild animals who made poor pets. Animals well cared for. Not a showy commercial...More

A wonderful facility assisting in protecting/assisting Monkeys. So many beautiful monkeys have suffered electrical shock, death on the power lines....mothers electrocuted leaving their babies to fall down and hopefully be rescued. Donations are gratefully accepted and may help save a monkey.

This great park is just off the main road. Great to see the good work this nonprofit organization does to help animals. Not a zoo with tons of exhibits, but a small collection of rescued animals to view. $15 per person entrance fee is for...More
