The Caribeans Coffee and Chocolate tour was the highlight of my trip to Costa Rica! I learned so much about the way chocolate is made and property is a really lovely walk. Great views, educational, and delicious. We got to do a special tasting and pairing with tons of fun spices to test with the local chocolate growers samples.

Very pricey and very sarcastic employees. Asked questions regarding their menu items and was treated like I was dumb. Stopped once and not again after that.

Thank for letting us know how you felt about our staff and our prices. There is no excuse. No question about our menu should warrant sarcastic remarks. I am sorry to hear of your experience. I will address your review with my staff and make them know that no question, no matter how many times they have heard it, nor... More

Stopped here on the way back from the spa. It's a great little hangout with some awesome drinks, desserts and of course chocolate. We had the chocolate milk (so refreshing), key lime pie and chocolate vegan tart. Everything is super fresh and right from the area. Stop by to check out their sample room if nothing else!

My husband, 13 year old daughter and I went on this chocolate tour on a Thursday afternoon. We learned all about the process of growing, drying, roasting, and tempering cocoa beans. I had no idea!!!!! We got to try out all different flavors, and then we got to try our own "recipes" with spices, fruits and herbs. (My daughter's favorite... More

This beautiful little place is filled with small batch chocolate from the back yard and local individual cocoa farms! There's a tour of the chocolate plantation that you can, and would highly appreciate going on if you're a chocolate lover, that shows you the process bean to bar...including the beautiful ladies that wrap up the bars themselves (so much love... Our family really enjoyed this tour. We learned so much and were impressed by Paul's tenacity, commitment and objectives. We only hope that he is successful in bringing chocolate making into the hands of the chocolate growers! The information obtained while walking through the jungle was a great way for the kids and adults to learn together. The chocolate making... More

This is great stop if you are at Playa Cocles. The iced coffee was amazing. They also sell their artisanal chocolate. Free wireless.

We were extremely impressed by the chocolate tour! The guide, Jeff, was very informative, and the walk through the area was an experience in itself. We saw 3 sloths, tree cutter ants and poison dart frogs. We got to try the chocolate at different stages, including straight from the fruit. The tasting part of the tour was on top of... More

We booked on the 10am tour, but arrived early and sat and had a coffee watching a sloth put on a display in the tree across the road, which made for a good start! The coffee was very nice and came with a piece of chocolate on the side, lovely touch. The tour itself was really interesting, meeting some of... More
