Our Caravan bus tour stopped by the aerial tram and butterfly garden near Jaco. It was a delightful 45-minute gondola ride up to the top of the tree canopy and back. We saw termite nests, a toucan, a white hawk, and a plethora of trees,...More

Rainforest Adventures has facilities on both coasts and I was at the one in Jaco on the west coast. I went as part of a cruise excursion in December. The bus ride from Puerto Arenas (where the cruise ships dock) is about an hour and...More

As part of a ship tour we ended up taking an aerial tram car ride through the canopy of the jungle. It was very serene and enjoyable. There are other things to do at this location.

What a great time we had on a rainy day in Jaco. Our guide was friendly and helpful. No better way to ascend and descend a 2,000 mountain than in the rain. Before the rain came down hard we stopped at the waterfall (which we...More

We went for the canopy tour organised by our hotel at $60 per person. I've given every other tour i've reviewed so far in CR either a 4 or 5 but for us this was probably our least favourite activity. I didn't quite appreciate it...More

Took an early morning gondola ride 1/2 hour up the mountain and 1/2 hour back down. Saw very little wildlife due to the downpour. The ride itself was restful and beautiful, the guide was okay but hard to understand. The botanical walk was interesting but...More

I've been zip lining twice now here and it's been amazing... exactly what I needed 👌🏽one of my favorite parts was the gondola ride up the mountain!

My family and I visited Rainforest Adventures in June 2017. We had never been to an Adventure park before, and we absolutely loved it! We booked the Adrenaline Junkie tour, and to be honest, I was extremely nervous about the Hanging Sky Bridge. It was...More

We visited many wilder places, but the tram ride and zoo and gardens were delightful in their own comfortable way. Our guide knew his business and was well able to answer unexpected questions. Even the most dangerous animals were on safe up close display.
