We stayed here for a week and this was the most beautiful and chill beach we had seen. It's quieter closer to the surf school at the end of the beach and just a dream to swim in while the sun is setting. Do not pass up a chance to see this beach!

A lot of peddlers selling stuff. But nice size waves for a little fun, and plenty of coconut water passing by to stay hydrated for 1000 collonas

My wife and I stayed in Manuel Antonio and went to the beach two times. Went with a local tico who had us drive past the other tico's at the one entrance of the beach that were trying to get tourists to pay money. Just drove past them and lots of parking under the trees. Beach is beautiful. My wife... More

The main beach as you enter Manuel Antonio is incredibly crowded, dirty and a little sketchy. Definitely go into the beaches inside the park. They are beautiful, clean and monkeys/iguanas/racoons are there to entertain and try to steal food! No one told them they aren't to be fed by tourists anymore!

The beach is very beautiful, not crowded. You can rent an umbrella and chairs and stay there to relax and enjoy the view. There are a couple of beach parachute, and surfing going on, but overall, it's not crowded, not noisy. Perfect for a beach day to relax. There are also some food carts - selling ice cream, or coconuts... More

One of the best beaches I've ever seen. Everything is perfect here: azure waste, white sand, enough shadow and not to crowdy

Long beach with good sand. Open south - so always has waves - not high - so not perfect for surfing or SAP. Parking costs for some reason, although nothing prepared as a parking place.

We spent a short while on this beautiful beach, narrowly avoiding the raccoons getting into our backpacks! It really is stunning and the waves aren't quite so big as on the main 'public' beach (all beaches in CR are public).

The beach was a short walk from my resort. We decided to walk instead of take the bus, however, the bus will save you from walking back up the steep hill. We thought the beach was very nice and there were many local people there as well as tourists. We were told to be careful and just watch for crocodiles... More
