Tortuga Island is absolutely stunning and our day trip gave us abundant time to enjoy it. We had great weather in the morning so did our two snorkeling spots back to back. Only one other group was in the area so the waters weren't too crowded, a benefit of being there in the off-season. After snorkeling, we enjoyed homemade lunch... More

Well the boat ride out to Tortuga was $45 for the day and we got what we paid for. The boat ride is a nothing--can't see much on a speedboat anyway. The snorkeling was the highlight for sure and the company reps are nice and helpful. The island itself is a tourist trap. $2 to use the restroom, swarms of... More

My friend and I walked to every single tour company looking to book isla tortuga trip along Wotu taxi boat from Montezuma to jaco. These guys were the cheapest by far and the most accommodating. Check them out. We saw dolphins on our taxiboat ride and the driver actually stopped and circled around so we could enjoy and take pictures.... More

I have to say that the staff was great; super nice, super helpful. I gave an average rating for the experience itself and the price (70$US if booked from Santa Teresa, which is just 30 minutes from Montezuma). I went during low season and it was still very touristy: 4 or 5 boats at the same time, with an average... More

These guys offered us a great day trip to Tortuga Island for just 35 dollars or 33 if paying in cash. It includes food and drink on the beach and snorkelling too. Overall great day.

Excellent day at Tortuga. For $35 each my husband and I took a day snorkel trip which was a high light of our CR trip. The company was professional, safe, and prepared an excellent hot lunch served to us after snorkeling. Then we had 2 hours to relax in the sun, swim in the clear beautiful water, or rent water... On one hand, I really enjoyed the Isla Tortuga tour with the same company, so i decided to try the horse riding trip for $30. When I arrived the horses were in unacceptable condition; very skinny, bones jutting out, could feel their ribs and their fur was patchy and had sores. On top of this I am 5 ft 10... More

this is a day trip where the boat leaves at 9:00am, takes you to Isla Tortuga for 2 - 45 minute snorkel stops and an excellent lunch incl. beer & water, then has you back in town for 4:00. The staff give great service and work really hard. For $50 per person it is excellent value. Bring a towel and... More

Snorkelling is not the reason you take that tour. Ain't great, but always good nevertheles. You take it for the view, the incredible service (for kids and adults alike), etc. recommend that company.

The Tortuga Island day tour is advertised as a snorkelling trip involving two sessions of snorkelling - despite really good weather we were dropped at a sight with absolutely nothing to see and left within 10 minutes. There was no other snorkelling and no explanation. Spent the rest of the day at the beach which was nice but similar to... More
