I enjoyed seeing the oldest church in Costa Rica. It was built in 1735. Amazing that any of it is still standing. Was glad to have seen this historical site

Stopped here for about an hour, while doing some birding. The old building is beautiful and the park has nice flowers, trees, and a creek. There were local families with both old and young gathered together. If you are ever in the area, check it...More

This is a pretty spot on the Orosi Valley loop drive. The site is treed and nicely landscaped so was quite atmospheric. There are picnic benches if you bring a lunch.

Not an extensive installation by any measurement, but still interesting to view, particularly from waaay up above at the mirador site on the valley edge, where you also have lovely views of much of the Orosi to enjoy.

Can you tell me where you access the ruins on the loop tour aroeund the Orosi Valley. I make the loop pretty often passing through Orosi, over the bridge, past the walking bridge across the river, over the Cachi dam, back to Cartago. Where exactly are the ruins?
