Reachable by hiking trail or four-wheel vehicle, Rarotonga's only fall is also known as Papua Waterfall, because water from the Papua stream spills down the cliff into a beautiful swimming hole.

Did the Raro Buggy tour and visiting Wigmore's was part of the tour. Lovely waterfall, cool refreshing water but humongous mozzies that could carry you away.

3 different tours ended here at this waterfall, never leave the island without a swim here at least once.

We walked up here from Lagoon Breeze, past the SPCA with its barking dogs, keen to check out the start to the cross-island walk. We picked a good day as there were no mosquitos, and there was some water running.

Beautiful spot for a freshwater swim...$5 entry but certainly worth it. A gem on the island, one to remember.
