Reachable by hiking trail or four-wheel vehicle, Rarotonga's only fall is also known as Papua Waterfall, because water from the Papua stream spills down the cliff into a beautiful swimming hole.

We are staying very near so thought we should see it. We were a little taken aback to be asked to pay $5 but I suppose somebody needs to keep up the road. It seems this is the south end of the cross island walk,...More

There was some unofficial looking people blocking the road and collecting $5 to visit the waterfall. I have no idea what this money is being used for. We visited the waterfall when there was hardly any water flowing. You would see more water flushing your...More

Not much to see for the $5/car fee and the mozzies will pick you up and carry you away if you let them! Only flowing if there's been rain.

It is disappointing that Pa Ariki has allowed locals to charge for this beautiful part of Rarotonga. They should not be charging out of principle and have become greedy. Please do not encourage them by paying to see the waterfall.

There is fee to see the Waterfall-if the guys are there. And there needs to have been rain for it to be flowing.

Nice small waterfall inland on Rarotonga, had an area to have lunch if you take a picnic. Take towels and togs for a refreshing swim. Definetly need big spray as lots of mosquitos. The road on the drive up is a bit rough and it’s...More
